Lombardia
Numerous possibilities for incentive activities

Milan in Lombardia equals to luxury. With its large number of hotels and meeting spaces, Milan is the perfect destination for big meetings and conferences. Free time can be easily filled with several art galleries, the celebrated Scala opera house, a very chic historical centre and off course the extensive shopping area.

For incentives, Lombardy's most popular destinations are the Lakes. Como and Maggiore, both about a forty-five minute drive from Milan's Malpensa airport. Both lakes have 4 and 5 star tophotels and extremely impressive conference venues. The area offers numerous possibilities for incentive activities: car rallies around the lake, excursions on private boats, trekking with specialized alpine guides, mountain biking and much more. Impossible not to mention Monza and its Formula 1 circuit famous throughout the world... a good excuse to visit the region and watch a great race!

In Italy's rice capital the saffron-tinted risotto alla milanese is served with ossobuco (braised veal shank). The city's soups include robust minestrone and busecca (based on tripe). Noted meat dishes are cotoletta alla milanese (breaded veal cutlet), casoeula (pork stew) and mondeghili (meat croquettes). Milan is known for fine-grained pork salami, that was traditionally made in the city, as well as in the nearby Brianza hills. Panettone, a fruit cake, is a national Christmas institution.

The region is served by three main airports, Linate located almost in the center of Milan, Bergamo's Orio al Serio and Malpensa with frequent non-stop flights to all international destinations.
