Venice doesn’t need much explanation. There are so many wonderful places to see for everyone. In every season Venice has something sparkling, something magic... What would you think of a workshop in which your guests create their own mask in Ca’Macana laboratory, drinking a Bellini in Harry’s bar or enjoying a coffee break in Caffé Florian in order to be ready for your next mission “Murano Glass laboratories”? Some window shopping at Sermoneta Gloves or a visit at Peggy Guggenheim Collection ?

Who can leave Venice without having a regional lunch in one of the many restaurants, hidden in the narrow streets ? Taste Venetian specialties such as Sarde in Saor, Risi e Bisi or Pasta e Fagioli. Suggestion 2: Venetian islands

Don’t leave Venice without visiting the islands ! Original handmade artistic glass is the famous product of the island Murano. Burano is a fishing-village with multi-colored houses and known for lace-making. Torcello, the island of mosaics and its Chiesa di Santa Fosca.

Suggestion 3: Palladio in the picture (Vicenza)

This Palladio tour in the city of Vicenza is an absolute must for lovers of renaissance art and architecture ! Andrea Palladio was considered as the best architect of 16th century Italy. Unesco has placed Vicenza and Palladio’s villas on the Unesco World Heritage list : numerous buildings, including the magnificent Olympic theatre and the many palaces designed by this Master Architect…

Visit at the vineyards of the Colli Berici during a wine route with tastings. Dinner in a restaurant situated in the Colli Berici hills. In Tregnano you can visit the Soave Castle which dates back in the early Middle ages.

Suggestion 4: Verona : Romeo and Julietta

As everybody knows, Verona is the town of Romeo and Juliet. Nevertheless in Verona there’s much more to discover : history, music, open air theatre, famous wines, excellent food and more. A guided tour through the historical centre is an unforgettable experience : the Arena, the Romeo and Julietta house, Piazza della Erbe and Piazza dei Signori. Continue your trip by visiting the Soave Castle and a Palladian Villa. Meeting point for wine lovers are the vineyards at the Recioto and Gambellara DOC wine route followed by a tasting and of course the wine museum in Gambellara. The hills are the perfect location for a dinner on a historical site.

Suggestion 5: Conegliano – Valdobbiadene

2 or 3 days excursion dedicated to wine ! Visit at vineyards, tastings under the supervision of a sommelier, and learn all about the traditional production methods of Prosecco, a delicious sparkling wine.

Suggestion 6: Padua

This trip through the city of Padua doesn’t include only the religious side like the Basilica di San’Antonio, but there are plenty other places to visit : Botanical Gardens, Prato della Valle, Palazzo del Bo,… or choose a themed tour : Classic Padua, Padua Science, Museum Tour or Renaissance Tour.

Suggestion 7: Venetian villas on Brenta River

Want to see how the 16th century rich and famous of Venice enjoyed their weekends and summer breaks ? Take a leisurely day-long boat ride to visit some of the palaces and villas of the Brenta Canal between Padua and Venice : Villa Pisani, Barchessa Valmarana, Villa Widmann, Villa Foscari…

Suggestion 8: Cooking workshop

Half day culinary lesson with a reputated Chef cook. He learns you the secrets about the regional cuisine : sarde in saor, risi e bisi, pasta e fagioli, followed by a wine tasting, and a dessert & coffee degustation workshop.

Suggestion 9: Sport on Brenta River

Day 1 : A cruise along the Brenta River is by far the most romantic way to visit the sumptuous villas overlooking this Veneto waterway (4 km). Or go for the rafting descent ! We’ll visit “Grotte di Oliero”, followed by a local lunch. Check-in hotel with diner.

Day 2 : Focus on Veneto culture & history, wine tastings and regional products degustations.

Suggestion 10: Sport in Bassano del Grappa

Start a paragliding flight in Panettone, under Cima Grappa (20 à 40 minutes), the breathtaking way to discover the Bassano del Grappa region..

Suggestion 11: Horse riding on Asiago Plateau

If horse riding is more your thing you can ride the Asiago plateau up in the Italian Alps, from out the Orthal riding center, enjoying the beautiful forest, rivers, lakes and alpine pastures. Lunch - based on home made products - is waiting after your trip (2 hours). In the afternoon our programme includes cheese- and honey tastings.

Suggestion 12: Regional products Bassano del Grappa

Discover the typical products : visit at coffee distillery, degustation of artisanal cookies, local cheeses, Grappa Museum with tasting, and walk across the legendary Ponte degli Alpini, the bridge over the Brenta River.

Suggestion 13: Biking in Bassano del Grappa

Experience the beautiful nature by bike during a guided tour with the National Mountain Bike Academy MTB, several difficulty grades available. If you choose Grappa–Valdobbiadene (60 km), enjoy a prosecco-tasting on the way !

Suggestion 14: Chioggia - Caorle Lagoon

Chioggia – a charming fishing port - is a miniature version of Venice, but much less crowded. You shouldn’t miss the opportunity to explore the waterways and Caorle Lagoon itself with its typical fishing huts.
